About the Founder- Patricia Chinyoka

A highly experienced and dedicated Inclusion Consultant with a wealth of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion with the ability to influence and drive change within large organisations.

CIPD qualified with many years of experience, in her current part-time role as D&I Lead for a large Housing Association. Patricia provides focus, leadership and expertise on diversity and inclusion across the organisation and partners with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams and the Group Board to educate, influence and drive change helping to create and sustain an inclusive culture.

Patricia has excellent exposure to multi-national work cultures and a strong track record of developing, implementing, and monitoring programmes that progress inclusion, cultural change, and leadership accountability. She provides advice and guidance on inclusion strategies, recruitment and progression, succession planning/talent management processes, leadership support, anti-racism consultation and has led on large projects which included cross organisational mentoring programmes including a collaborative unemployed mentoring programme with DWP whilst at Business in the Community. Patricia recently supported an education charity develop an inclusive language toolkit for primary school children.

Patricia’s varied expertise includes providing resources and consultation to Executive Committee teams (ExCo), Diversity & Inclusion Practitioners; Diversity Champions; Employee Resource Groups, Executive Sponsors. In her previous role at BITC, she such as Cabinet Office, Foreign Commonwealth Development Office, Royal Air Force, Santander, Nationwide, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Shell, Google, Fujitsu, Ofcom. She holds an MA in Human Resources and Employment Studies.

Skills and experience include but are not limited to legislative, regulatory, and current diversity trends project management, stakeholder engagement; delivery of D&I training on topics ranging from inclusive leadership; privilege and intersectionality; everyday advocate and allyship; convening roundtable discussions/peer learning forums; public speaking; advice on D&I trends.

Patricia is passionate about her community; alongside her Inclusion role she runs a charity, Care for Someone, that is focused on two projects: supporting young people continue their education and a women empowerment programme that supports women start their own home-based businesses in Zimbabwe. She won an award in recognition of her charity work.
